A performance art which originated with the Māori people of New Zealand, Poi involves swinging tethered weights through a variety of rhythmical and geometric patterns. Juggling involves continuously throwing a number of objects into the air trying to catch them again. Both involve trying not to hit yourself in the head, with varying degrees of success. Come along and have a go at the basics - bring your own Poi or Juggling balls if you have some!
